Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements and dates available. Most courses feature the use of and handling of live explosives. Course participants who are handling explosives or firearms will be required to complete police disclosure checks.
General Explosives Training Course
Specialist training course with live explosives use. Courses can be run at your base (globally) or our venue in Scotland and can be tailored to your industry e.g. diving, offshore, onshore, seismic. Facilities available include accommodation, lecture rooms and live trials site.

Security Awareness In The Use Of Explosives Course
Suitable for companies which use explosives such as oil and gas, seismic, quarrying and civil engineering who work in hostile environments.

IED/Security/Threat Awareness Course
Suitable for oil and gas companies, airports, harbours, security companies and generation companies that may see themselves as a target or a security risk. As part of the course you will see live demonstrations of IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices)

The Maritime Firearms Competency Course
This course will give participants the opportunity to develop their skills so that they can deploy on protection duties in the maritime environment. We offer realistic targets and scenarios where the firing points are simulating conditions that you may find yourself in. You will fire weapons from raised platforms over distances up to 1000m. Targets will replicate small, fast craft with the objective of disabling them ie outboard motors, control surfaces, fuel tanks etc. This is a unique opportunity amongst similar courses. These challenging scenarios will increase your confidence and fine-tune your ability to be part of a professional team.

Due Diligence
To qualify for all the above courses you need:
Proof of service or testimonial from Armed Forces or Police.
Military/Police ID if still serving.
You need at least 3 years infantry experience.
Clean CRB within the past 12 month
This course is suitable for both first time attendees and those who have previously completed a maritime firearms competency course with us or elsewhere.

Consultancy
We offer consultancy on all aspects of explosives engineering, storage, manufacture and transport. Tailored HAZID / QHSE / Method Statements / Procedures will be produced for all trials. Environmental impact studies can be carried out, as can mitigation effects studies.
We consult on all explosive storage issues. We have years of experience in putting HSE licenses in place for existing military sites or new sites for manufacture and storage.
We also operate a 24-hour emergency response service throughout mainland UK and the North Sea, including the use of specialist cutting charges.
